I’m not sure I did the very best job at explaining the mixture of three pronouns, one in each and what that does to the meaning of the passage, but if you persevere through the middle of the video, I get to the point better and the last third. Thanks so much!

Chuck, thank you so much for such a thought-provoking teaching on this Genesis passage! It’s intriguing to read/ hear various interpretations of the Bible.

I’ve enjoyed listening to your podcasts, have shared them with others, and even bought Greg Boyd’s book, God at War, to delve deeper into this material in which YOU have introduced me.

Blessings, Chuck and Sherry!

Hi Cindy, thank you so much for engaging my content and for taking the time to comment. The Bible is just so amazing! It’s like a kaleidoscope and you just twist a little bit and a whole new color and pattern emerges. I think this story has so much to say to all of us about allowing our emotions to break our fellowship with other people and Cause us to fall away from the favor of God.

Have you started reading Greg Boyd‘s book? The first 1/3 is difficult and confusing to some people because he is comparing Judaism with ancient Babylonian religion. But, man! When he gets to the section about God’s war, with the devil, it becomes so powerful in my opinion. I have underlined half the book.

Cindy, Thanks again for your comment and please share the newsletter to help the audience grow. It’s a lot of work and I really want to turn this into a vibrant Christian community that strengthens everyone connected
