Spot on my brother! Relationship, not religion is the fuel that guides us into what God created us for. Thank you for sharing your insights into knowing Him better. Blessings

I like that, 'Did you have a personal experience with Jesus". "How can two people walk together, unless they agree". Agree with God, love it!

I get up in the morning, read my Bible and I pray. I get to work and I am overwhelmed with the problems and needs of my business. Then at the end of the day, I realize that I made no time for the Lord during the chaos. It is not my intention to turn Him off, but that’s how it feels when I lay down at night- that I didn’t ask for His direction- rather I went about untangling the issues of the day alone. Sometimes I also find myself asking for His help. But when I don’t feel I hear Him, I make a decision. Then I struggle wondering whether that was the right thing to do or not. Because many of the decisions I make require immediate answers. So with all of this said, I feel I do my work days without Him and I don’t like how it feels when the day is over and I realize our last conversation was that morning. Any suggestions?

So sorry, Andrea! I believe I answered this right after you posted it but somehow it did not get sent to the software. I can relate to what you’re describing. It’s so easy to wake up with an active mind that is immediately engaged with the demands of business. I have done that so many days. You’re in a very demanding business, with lots of people moving in and out of your office, so it’s fully understandable

Still, the door to his presence is always open for all of us. I am in my own life working on learning to be fully present and slow my mind down so I can really be in every moment, which is really the only life we get. The present moment. I think God lives in the present with us. I will be praying for you too find a way to throttle back your attention so you can have the sense that you have walked with God throughout each demanding day. I think God wants you to be satisfied and contented in the way you live your life and I will pray that you can make steady progress throughout the year to come. Thanks for being so honest!

Thanks so much for sharing on this Aundrea. You are in such an intense industry. I can’t imagine how stressful your days must be.

Maybe you could set a timer every two hours and just stop everything you are doing for five or 10 minutes, our worship song that really expresses your heart and just sing and worship the Lord 10 minutes every two hours. just a suggestion. Thanks again for being open. We are all learning from each other.
