Thank you so much for the affirmation and the encouragement to be a 5%. The Lord is good and always provides. Just for confirmation purposes, each Ukranian family that Sarita has found a sponsor for, we also have found cars for, three of them have been ours but others are now joining the party:). Each one has a home, furniture, abundance of life. It works!! keep up the great job teaching!! We love you guys!

Wade, you and Sarita have been such true friends to Ukrainian people. We commend you for your sacrifice. It took big abundant faith :-)

My husband and I changed churches years ago after being in the same church for quite a while. We were looking and praying. We visited a church that focuses on being part of that 5% and landed there. When I heard the giving liturgy and heart of the community I just cried. A lot. I think this liturgy applies to more than money...but expresses the hearts of people who want to be the change in the world around us. Thanks for the message on abundance...

Holy Father, you are a faithful provider,

There is nothing I have that You have not given me.

All I have and am belong to You,

Bought with the blood of Jesus.

To keep everything to myself, and to give without sacrifice to build my kingdom,

is the way of the world that You cannot abide in.

But generosity is the way of those who call Christ their Lord;

who love Him with freed hearts, and serve Him with renewed minds;

Who withstand the delusion of riches, whose hearts are in your kingdom and not in the systems of the world.

I am determined to increase in generosity until it can be said that there is no need among us.

I’m determined to be trustworthy, with such a little thing as money, that You may trust me with true riches.

Above all, I am determined to be generous, because You, Father are generous. It is the delight of your daughters and sons, to share Your traits, and to show You to the world.

Heidi, thank you so much for your thoughtful addition. I think it adds so much to our group for each of us to contribute our own thoughts and ideas to the discussion like you do. Thanks for that!

Hey Chuck, you are awesome. Thank you for that word. It’s a new day and a new world in my life. So many restarts so many opportunities God is blessing me in so many ways but I believe that never have I ever truly sold his one and only perfect wheel as I am right now. I’m doing that, there are many many questions that begin to arise, because I’m living in a different stage of life that I’ve ever lived, and even as I was talking to my sister, the other day, I told her I know that God loves me, but sometimes I don’t think he likes me And I’m definitely sure he doesn’t favor me. You were talking about the systems of God universe. I truly believe that 100%. If we do the right things for the right reasons, he will honor his word no matter what. And that’s where a lot of my conundrum comes in place. I’m realizing more and more that God is never respected a person in every way. Doesn’t matter who I am, and what I do as long as what I do is for his glory and in his righteousness.

Marcus, Just stay on the journey. We are all in process, and we get a new chance every day to walk in the light. It’s such a valuable inheritance to be raised in a family that honors the Lord and gives you that mindset from birth. Then it’s just unpack it, and learn how to live it for yourself as an adult. Thanks for adding your story to ours

Thank you for this message, Pastor Chuck. It is wonderful to be hearing from you again. You have so many lessons and preachings in the past which have, up to now, help me maneuver through life. I guess I am built as not one of those "steady ones". I am one who sees change and want to act on them, but sometimes they take a toll on me and my family. Like right now. But compared to years back, now, Gene and I find it easier to just pause and wonder with excitement what God has in store in the days to come. We have seen that God is sovereign. God is faithful and yes, everyday we see how He provides. Thank you for your message. They were in sync with my readings yesterday from the Bible on the Quail and the Manna. :)

Thank yoyou so much for this teaching. I know it is true and a great reminder to practice this mindset. I have a friend whose son was born with paralyzed vocal cords. He is five or six now. They were able to do a surgery at Cincinnati Children's Hospital where they took part of his rib and created a way to keep his passage open enough for him to breathe and talk. It is still a journey, but God has always provided. She lives in Benton, TN and has a blog about both of her boys who are special needs. The blog is called Miracles For Malachi if you'd like to check it out. She is a huge encouragement to me.

Wow! Thanks so much! Actually, our grandson, Paxton he's doing so well. His vocal cords have begun moving, and his breathing is almost normal. He has no trouble swallowing or making sounds-- all without surgery (which his parents, both in medicine as a career, were trying to avoid). Just prayer and waiting on God to touch his body and cause it to develop nerves where they were missing. Thanks for your encouragement!

Great word Chuck. Hope your house is ok! I have people say “this disaster will finish me”. In this world there will be disasters, now and then.. but don’t fall into despair, the kingdom of heaven was designed to over come what was meant to destroy you. 12 months from now this will be a testimony of an overcomer. You can’t loose unless you quit!

Amen, it's pretty much a disaster. They've had to cut away downstairs walls and tear up all flooring and cabinetry. It took weeks, but it's now dry and looking at a 2 month rebuild. I determined when I heard the news to believe in God's abundance and not let my mind waver and it has kept me grounded throughout. Truth works if you believe it. Thanks for your concern, Jake.
